He forces her to go collect some money he's owed from a kid at Chloe's school in order to pay off her tab. I chose the silly hotdog t-shirt because it's so cute!Ĭhloe gets a text from Frank (her drug dealer) and he comes to pick her up in his sketchy RV. Before Rachel leaves, she gives Chloe a bag of clothes and Chloe changes into a new outfit. That's after you spend some time walking around the junkyard looking for a bulb, a towel, and a mat to spruce up an old junky car for you to sit in. They have a moment together where they pretend to be each other's therapist and let out all their teen angst. Chloe heads to the junkyard and Rachel soon follows her. David disgusts Chloe and she takes the opportunity to simply walk away instead of going home with them, prompting her mom to continuously text her in worry throughout the rest of the episode. Chloe sure likes hanging out in the junkyard.Īfter leaving the principal's office, Chloe is told by her mom that David will be moving in to their home to help her deal with the family and try to make it more of a traditional family unit. Chloe was still suspended for the rest of the school year given her history with authority and Rachel was told she wouldn't be in the school play anymore which is something she had been looking forward to for a long time. I had the choice of going along with Rachel or not and I decided to go along with her and see what happened. After some heated banter about how Chloe is the cause of Rachel's newfound problem with society, Rachel offers Chloe an out by stating that it was Rachel that coerced Chloe into skipping school (although it was more of a mutual decision). Rachel manages to keep her anger towards her father contained in the opening scene of Episode 2 where she and Chloe are being lectured by the high school master about their insubordinate behaviour when they skipped school. What caused her to do this in rage was witnessing her dad from afar cheating on her mom with another woman. At the end of the first episode, we saw Rachel starting the fire when she tipped over a lit garbage can in a park, causing the flames to quickly spread amongst the foliage. The wildfire in Life is Strange: Before the Storm seems to be a metaphor for how the main characters are feeling and could be compared to the growing storm of the original Life is Strange. □ May as well leave an impression before you go │ Remember to support your favourite streamers and content creators for all the entertainment that they provide.
